At Newcastle Marina, we are committed to delivering a wide array of marine services ranging from boat lifts, shaft and propeller repair, boat engine maintenance, boat parts and more. Scaffolding and ladders are available free of charge. Our contractors have the right equipment, knowledge and training in rebuilding boat engine systems.

With the longest history of any boatyard in the Nanaimo vicinity, Newcastle Marina offers a fully insured boatyard serviced by one of the largest (60 ton) Marine Travelifts in the area. Our boatyard is available year round by scheduled haul out or emergency hoist. Repairs, maintenance and aesthetic service performed to the engine, hull, keel or deck of the vessel can be done by the customer themselves, our friendly staff, or one of our recommended contractors. We offer limited dryland boat storage with monthly rates starting mid October to mid March.

The Fox Environmental Water Systems installed at Newcastle Marina ensures that all boatyard run off is processed to meet the water quality standards of the City of Nanaimo and Department of Fisheries. Newcastle Marina encourages all patrons to be environmentally conscious to contain and dispose of all yard waste oils and hazardous materials properly through recycling programs. Tarps, brooms and shovels will be provided to anyone scraping or sanding their boat. Please inquire with one of our friendly staff.
